The CU in CHH is open to everyone. We're here to support Christians in their faith, and to help anyone who wants to explore what Christianity is all about. We meet every Wednesday evening, so come along to explore a short bible passage together, ask questions, eat lots of food and have a laugh.

 Matt is a 2nd year Civil Engineer and LOVES Ultimate Frisbee. He’s also passionate about drumming, bridges (aren’t all Civil Engineers?!) and fighting poverty! His door’s always open if you feel like a chat/cheeky pint/game of Frisbee. Email: mo9842@bristol.ac.uk or find him in C.19!

Leila is ALWAYS singing (or laughing). She’s a 2nd year music student and therefore has loads of spare time, tea and biscuits. She is always up for a chat and loves playing tennis, random walks, ‘running’ with Rachael, baking CU brownies and watching really cheesy films.  Rachael’s main talents lie in strangely convincing animal impressions, but in her spare time she studies civil engineering. You may catch her taking artistic photos in the CHH gardens or running around the Clifton area (with Leila a few miles behind). Weekly Events

Tuesdays - Prayer Breakfast - if you're good with early mornings and fancy coming along at 7.40am to pray over breakfast with a load of other CU people just meet us by the late door.  

·         Lunch-bars (free obviously) in Physics @ 1pm for the first 4 weeks of term - Free lunch and a short talk on different Big Questions that are often asked about the Christian faith.

·         CHRISTIANITY EXPLORED! - 7.45-9 in Bar Humbug on Whiteladies Road. A casual, approach to looking at Jesus’ claims in Mark's Gospel.  Great for everyone whether you're a total Jesus-freak or convinced Atheist!

Wednesdays - HALL CU - We meet up in the music room at 7pm every week to chat about a passage from the Bible, and how we can live it out in Halls. Everyone is welcome to come along.

Thursdays - CU central @ 7.30pm - A university wide Christian Union meeting with a taught bible passage and Worship. This term we are looking at (Jesus') Stories from Death Row. Either in the Students' Union or in Wills Chapel (email us or see our facebook group - see below - for more info)

Sundays - Church Search - 9.30am in the CHH reception car park. To make finding a church really easy loads of different reps come to us and tell us about their churches and we then chose which ones to try out. (first four weeks of term only...after that ask Rachael, Matt or Leila)

Saturday 22nd October- TRANSFORMISSION!  This is an amazing event in Exeter run by UCCF (be Transformed for Mission) - it's almost totally free (£8 coach fare) - let one of us know if you want to come and haven't signed up yet

Monday 24th October - University wide TEXT A TOASTIE! The CU is famous for its free food, here's a great example. Volunteer your services to one of us or just text for a toastie!
